Huckleberry Finn Chapters 7-15 Summary

Ch.7- Pap wake up to Huck with his gun and asks hi what he is doing and he said "there was a robber trying to get in the house so i grabbed the gun." Later on Huck runs away making everyone think he is dead by killing a pig and throwing blood all over the place. And left 2 trails to give false leads.

Ch.8- Hick is staying on an island where he can fish,hunt,and gather fruit and berry's. Later on he goes to the Illinois shore and there he meets up with Jim again. And Jim tels Hick the Ms. Watson is going to sell him so he ran away.

Ch.9- Huck and Jim loo around the island and find a cavern where tey bring some of there stuff so it wont get wet by the upcoming rain. And after the storm they see a 2-story house floting down the river and wait for sunlight to explore it. Inside they find candles,knifes,fishhooks,buttons,beeswax,bed-quilt and medcine.

Ch.10- Huck wants to know about the dead man. But Jim wont talk about him and huck thinks it is bad luck not to talk about it, but two days prior Huck touches a snakeskin with his bare hands and that is considered to be very bad luck. And then after that Jim gets bitten by a snake and Huck goes into town dressed up in girl clothes that he stole from the house. But he runs across a woman and he knocks and hopes she doesnt reconige the he is not a girl.

Ch.11- Huck goes inside the woman house they talk about whats been going on and about pap disappearing from the town. some people think Jim,pap or bandits killed Huck. She tells Huck about her husband going to check out the smoke coming from the island.Huck worries because she figures out he is a boy by the way he catches, throws and threads a needle. So he makes up a story and says he has to be on his way. He goes back to the island wakes up Jim and they leave.
Ch.12-Huck and Jim travel all night and reach the Illinois shore, there they stop and jim makes some rearrangements to the raft. Huck and Jim travel the river by night and rest by day. When they reach a town, Huck would go and borrow food. One night there was a storm, Huck sees a crashed steam boat and decided to go aboard to find some money. They go on the boat but sees a light and hear men talking. Huck sees two men standing over one guy tied up. Huck hides because they move. Huck tells Jim there murders, so they try to leave but there raft was untied and floated away.
Ch.13- Huck and Jim take the men boat and leave. Huck finds a captain and pleads with him to save them, he agrees and goes to get them. Huck and Jim sink the boats and hide the raft to sleep.
Ch.14- Huck reads so*me of the books from the boat to Jim. the books are about kings and dukes. They argue about the story about who loved the child more. They also begin to argue about  the french and how they speak.
Ch.15- Huck and Jim decide to go to Cairo a free state. Huck ties the raft to the shore but it gets loose, he goes and looks for it but the fog is to thick. He tries to find it but all he hears jims voice and he soon falls asleep and when he wakes up he sees Jim and the raft. He makes Jim feels stupid by telling him he was on the raft the hole time. Jim figures out Huck played a trick on him, he them goes into the wigwam. Huck feels guilty for the joke.
